Mondays with Michelle, Week One: Adult Acne

Welcome to the first installment of DermStore’s latest weekly feature: Mondays with Michelle , where, this week, I’ll address the topic of adult acne . Maybe you already knew about our Ask the Esthetician section, but if you didn’t, consider yourself enlightened: you can submit your personal skin care questions and I’ll answer them to the best of my ability, FREE of charge. And yes, it’s completely anonymous. All the skin care questions I get on a daily basis give me an ever-growing perspective on skin care, which is something I’m very passionate about. However, they also keep me aware of the fact that so many of us have such similar concerns, no matter how strange we think they are! Because of all the frequently asked questions and heavily recurring topics I see, I thought: Why not spotlight a skin care question a week in DermStore’s blog ? I figured it would be a great way to share my knowledge on the topic of skin care and to help you all tackle your most pressing skin concerns . So, first things first: if you have a pressing skin care question, by all means, ask me here ! And now, on to the good stuff: this week’s spotlighted skin care question: Q: “I’m 44 years old and STILL break out all the time. My skin doesn’t seem to respond well to salicylic acid products, either. On top of the breakouts , my wrinkles are starting to become more and more prominent. My face is a mess—help me, please!” A: Adult acne is a tricky one See the complete post here
