The leading and major dissimilarity in side effects between natural healing treatments and those listed in the Physicians Desk Reference (PDR) is that the PDR has double blind studies and research listing what amounts causes which side effects, whilst lots of herbal remedies lack this standard. That being mentioned, the largest part of conventional curative doses of herbal cures are minute enough to stay away from the most terrible and dangerous side effects. Whether some herbs get their results from the placebo effect is also open to doubt.
